We recently received an update from our in-field partner, the Agency for Assistance and Development of Afghanistan (AADA), who is helping us connect 20,000 pregnant and lactating women in Afghanistan with multivitamins (thanks to product donations made by ProCaps and project funding from Gaspari).
We are proud to be working with AADA which is the biggest national NGO in Afghanistan with more than 20 active projects that provide health services, community development, and training projects. Through USAID fund, AADA implements their programs in four provinces of Afghanistan including Bamyan, Faryab, Ghazni and Khost provinces. With 124 fixed clinics and 14 mobile health teams, AADA serves 75,000 pregnant/lactating women, 357,150 children under five, and 71,430 infants each year.
All photos are courtesy of AADA health program. Per the request of AADA and to respect the privacy and cultural norms of the beneficiaries, the identities of the recipients have been obscured.
