This month Whole Foods Market is donating $1 for the first 5,000 comments posted on their VivaVitamin Angels blog!  The blog features a podcast with Howard Schiffer, Vitamin Angels founder and president. In the interview, Schiffer shares that he created Vitamin Angels after learning that vitamin A could prevent a child from going blind and that 1/3 of child and maternal deaths were due to malnutrition.

Also, drop by your local Whole Foods store this month and catch Vitamin Angels banners, videos and materials throughout the store! Throughout the month of November in stores across the country, Whole Foods Market team members will be helping to raise awareness about Vitamin Angels work, promoting the brands available at Whole Foods Market who support Vitamin Angels, and collecting donations at register (participating stores).
