Web Marketing Intern

We are looking for a highly motivated Web Marketing Intern who wants participate in a mutually supportive healthy environment that is passionately committed to global health.

Create new online buzz about Vitamin Angels! We are looking for someone creative, independent, technically savvy and excited about our work to join our team. This spirited and socially-concerned individual will interact with Vitamin Angels partners and supporters through modern web media outlets such as the blog and Twitter, to get the word out about what we do. 

Duties:

• Write blog content – articles, stories, event recaps, insights, run contests, etc.

• Post and tag pictures and videos to blog and other social media outlets.

• Help maintain Twitter content and create Twitter conversation.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communications skills

• Ability to create, compose and edit written materials

• Ability to write in a simple conversational style

• Independent, highly organized, good attention to detail, great follow through and focus

• Knowledge and understanding of internet operations

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word

Desirable:

• Prior experience blogging

• Knowledge of Photoshop

Details:

• Job Location: Santa Barbara, CA. Applicants must reside in the Santa Barbarsa area. Vitamin Angels is unable to provide housing or travel for interns or staff.

• Start Date: July 2010

• Compensation: Intern Stipend - $200 Monthly

• Hours: 12-15 hours per week
