By Baker Johnson

In our 25th Anniversary year, we made incredible progress in our efforts to improve and protect the health of every mother, every child, everywhere. Here are a few of our highlights in 2019:

  • Reached hard to reach populations in every U.S. state and 70 countries worldwide.
  • Partnered with governments and 1,600 local organizations to fill gaps in coverage through:
    • Engaging in advocacy and advisory services
    • Providing technical assistance
      • Supporting adherence to best practices by improving and expanding our training tools for service providers; and measuring outputs and outcomes through routine monitoring and coverage surveys.
    • Delivering evidence-based nutrition interventions
      • Continuing and expanding our efforts, serving approximately 70 million mothers and children with:
        • Multiple micronutrient supplements (prenatal multivitamins) for pregnant women
