SmartyPants Vitamins is committed to helping children and mothers access life changing vitamins by making a donation for every bottle sold!

SmartyPants Vitamins approached Vitamin Angels in 2011 with the vision to build a company based on transparency, excellence, and transformation. Co-founders & Co-CEO’s, Courtney & Gordon Gould, believed that it was their responsibility to be accountable to not only the health of their customers, but to the health of those in need around the world. SmartyPants decided to make giving back a key component of their company mission by making a matching 1-for-1 micronutrient grant for every bottle of vitamins sold.

SmartyPants set a goal to help Vitamin Angels reach over 1 million children in 5 years and in 2015, one year ahead of schedule, that goal became a reality. SmartyPants has incorporated the Vitamin Angels 1-for-1 message into all their communications, from sample packs to product videos. They have made their commitment to health and giving back an anchor for the company, leveraging this mission to set a positive company culture, attract key talent, and inspire customers to become brand ambassadors.

In April of 2014, Courtney Nicholas Gould, along with her mother, accompanied Vitamin Angels to Peru to meet the mothers and children they are supporting. By sharing this trip, SmartyPants was able to bring an even deeper understanding of our impact together to customers, employees, and investors. Since then, five additional SmartyPants team members have accompanied Vitamin Angels on trips to Haiti, Ethiopia, Mexico and the Philippines to experience firsthand the impact and importance of our partnership.

With new line expansions launching everyday and continuous interest from high level investors, SmartyPants has become a well-known and greatly admired mission driven company excelling in the cause-marketing space.

“Getting the chance to be on the ground in Peru was extraordinary and the evidence of the impact of these vitamins is incontrovertible. It reminded me that 1 million isn’t just a number, it’s lives. It’s people working hard every single day to make a better life for themselves and their families.” Courtney Nichols Gould Co-Founder, Co-CEO
