Get vitamins. Change lives.
Since 2013, Walgreens and Vitamin Angels have worked together to provide vitamins and minerals to undernourished pregnant women and children in low and middle-income countries worldwide. As of 2020, Walgreens has reached over 200 million women and children with life-changing vitamins and minerals through this partnership. Over the last six years, Walgreens has donated one percent of sales of all vitamin and supplement retail sales to support Vitamin Angels’ outreach efforts to communities in need across the U.S. and globally.
In January 2020, Walgreens also held an in-store ‘Quarter Drive’ customer donation campaign, which resulted in an additional $1.9 million raised.
“With the support of Walgreens, Vitamin Angels has been able to reach millions of mothers and children under five at risk of malnutrition with life-saving nutrients,” said Howard Schiffer, founder and president of Vitamin Angels. “We are honored to be partnering with an organization that cares so much about children and moms in the U.S. and around the world.” Vitamin Angels thanks the entire Walgreens team for their incredible commitment and dedication to the partnership and mothers and children around the world. Support from Walgreens helps make Vitamin Angels’ work possible.
